CWNA: My Frustrations
Alright, where oh where to begin… Lets see.
I was scheduled for my Cisco 4 class, I knew it was going to be canceled due to low enrollment… I was prepared for that, so I wanted to take some additional classes… I need to take the Wireless networking classes… but they always fill up within the first day of registrations… WebAdvisor said it was from 9am-noon… cool… a three hours Saturday morning class, I can do that.
Got there last Saturday, to my amazement, it is a SEVEN HOUR CLASS… WTF! 9am until FOUR PM… >_?
So we wait for the professor… WHAT A JOKE. This guy wanted us to sit through two separate powerpoint presentations… and thats it… He’s never been a professor before.
He keeps telling us the CWNA and CWNP certifications are Cisco certs. CWNA AND CWNP ARE NOT CISCO CERTIFICATIONS, AND THE BOOK WE USE IS NOT A CISCO PRESS BOOK…
Anyhow, to make matters worse… this guy says our test is next class period, and its based on the slides (not the book) and that he would email us all the slides… We haven’t gotten shit, and It’s going to be Friday in a few hours. I’ve tried to contact him via three different methods… no response.
If he tries to test us on this, I’ll flip a fucking nut on him.
I’m going to record sessions of the next class period… because I think everybody needs to bear witness this ridiculousness.
Being “tought” wrong information, in an uneffective manner just simply blows the bit-bucket…
